Step 1 Cuticle Cleansing Shampoo cleanses the cuticle layer of the hair shaft without stripping the hair of its precious oils. Delicately fragranced. Not tested on Animals. Available in 8 oz. – 16 oz. And Gallon sizes.
Designed to thoroughly cleanse the cuticle (outer layer) of the hair shaft. Step 1 will release dirt or debris found on the surface of the hair shaft. This leaves the cuticle free of substances that might prevent the conditioning agents found in Step 2 from penetrating the cuticle layer of the hair and entering the cortexial fibers (inner fibers), of the hair shaft.

Because each product is pH-balanced, it must be initially purchased as a 4 piece system.
If an established customer runs out of a step, they can purchase them individually.
